Magnificent Motorcylce Photos

These photos of motorcycles were taken at the Harley Davidson in Rocky Mount.  They looked wonderful from a distance, but close up they are truly magnificent specimens.  I am not a motorcycle rider, but I just love the look of these hogs.

One day I may get up the guts to ride one these babies, but right now I am still a chicken.  But I do love to look at them!

Architecture of Downtown Rocky Mount Photos

I drove around downtown Rocky Mount and took pictures of some of the buildings.  This section of Rocky Mount was the hub of the city at one time, but now it feels like a ghost town in some parts of downtown as many of the hubs of commerce that were thriving years ago have closed down, gone out of business, or moved across town to the more newly renovated sections of the city.

          

Even though the buildings are old, isn't the architecture of these buildings just spectacular?

    

   

The City of Rocky Mount is working to bring businesses back to downtown.  You can see this in the Douglass Block section of the city.  These renovated buildings in  Douglas Block house new businesses that are helping to revitalize the downtown area.

Skiing Paintings

I have been invited to submit artwork for the 57th National Juried Art Show at the Maria V. Howard Arts Center this year.
