I painted this tree as part of Daily Paintworks' "The Give a Tree Its Gesture Challenge." 

There is a sugar maple tree in my back yard that turns a stunning vibrant red in early fall before its leaves fall off. It is so lovely against the landscape of tall Long Leaf Pine trees that tower above it. ​
