The Farmers Market-- A Painting

I bought some water mixable oil paints to see how I would like them.  They have many benefits, one being the need to not have to use toxic solvents or turpentine to thin the paints.  The paints also clean up with soap and water.

I may try Holbein Duo Aqua Oil water mixable paints next to see how differently they perform when compared to the Weber brand.  From what I am reading online, Holbein has a great reputation.

Here is a painting of our local farmers market building in our city of Rocky Mount.   I decided to try the water mixable paints with this painting, and I am pleased with the paints and how my painting turned out.  I am also pleased with the colors of the water mixable paints in this painting.  They are rich and vibrant, and I didn't have to use much paint to obtain the rich colors.  I think I will be using water mixable paints for a while.

This is a photo of the Farmers Market used as a reference for this painting.
